My Soul

by

Arnold Williams

I found my soul.

Deep, deep inside, I found my soul.

I found my soul buried alive.

I found my soul.

Misty pains in total darkness.

Hallow walls filled with secrets.

Floating evil masks.

Burning misery in picture frames.

Guilt hanging on hangers.

I found my soul at last.

I found my soul.

Deep, deep inside, I found my soul.

I found my soul unburied alive.

I found my soul and now I cry.

Cloudless sensitive serenity in total lightness.

Foundation filled with honesty.

Evil masks arrest.

Powerlessness hanging on hangers.

I found my soul at last.

Recovery Resources For All of us!
Poetry Away From The DarkSide
Recovery Resources:
For a winner is one who seeks to participate to change their life.  To fight their addictions and
come to an understanding and accepting the powerlessness that they can not do it alone.  A
winner also takes the risk to stretch the distance and a loser,  well,  there are no losers.  For
some of us are slower than others and some of us are still lost, but we will pray for their souls
and  we will reach out our hands  and  carry those who are unable to carry themselves.   For
those  who  reading this quote,  you surly are  a winner  because you  are doing something
about it.  You made it here.
Know matter what the addictions are when  we were lost some of us found ourselves isolated in this
world and separated from our Higher Powers and our family.
And  when some  of us  were found  we
found ourselves sober with feelings we never felt before. Some of us has been diagnosed with disorders,
depression, anxiety, and some of us still have these symptoms today, but are not educated on the facts
and the cause of them.  I would suggest doing a forth and a fifth step with a Sponsor or a Pastor.  If you
are overwhelm with shame, fear, anger, or guilt I then suggest a Therapist as well.

Now, some of us are set forth upon a spiritual path to take responsibilities for ourselves and with
patience we will soon become more than sober and clean.  We will come clean from our tears of pain,
loneliness
,distortions, shame, and soon enjoy life with having compassion for others and feasting with
our Higher Powers.  And soon we will heal with patience and be blessed with integrity and of life. Now
you are no longer alone and remember isolation is a key to relapse.  Fellowship is the key to success.
Accept  your  powerlessness and  walk with the strength of your Higher Power of your understanding.
For our prayers  are heard silently  through-out  the world  as we gather  together  to be part of a life,
a spiritual trail and a spiritual bridge, accepting God's will, no  matter  the  pain  of defeat  or glory of
success we strive for victory in the name of our Higher Powers of our understanding....
I am reaching out to those who are in recovery  and  to  those  who are  struggling  to be  part of...  Good News!.

Again, you can also participate by posting a poem on the blog.  Share your pain or share how you were able to
stay sober, the good times, or even when you found your Higher Power.

Building links,  friendships,   and  support  is the key to sobriety.    I understand this is not AA,   but it is a place of
fellowship like hanging out at the coffee shop.  There are no requirements.  If you are uncomfortable leaving your
name or email address then you can remain anonymous.   Your spirits will be heard here.
