There are so many things that can cause chaos in me. Dwelling on the negative; dwelling on things I can’t control;
striving for perfection and order; discouragement around failures and mistakes I’ve made; searching for purpose and
hope in a flawed world.

When I’m really immersed in nature—for hours or for days, there is quiet and there are ways that God’s creation
speaks to my soul. When I read the Psalms and Jesus’ words in Matthew about the lilies of the valley, I feel a
connection with others who have sensed God’s presence and God’s wisdom through His creation. It has been said that
“The rocks speak.” This song reflects that the lilies, the ocean, the raindrops, the sand speak also to the chaos in me.
When I’m running from others, from God, from myself, these words speak peace to me. And these words are from our
Creator to us.

Lyrics: “Peace Be Still”

The lilies of the valley, the daisies of the field

They change with every season, sleep peacefully and yield

My child, learn from these; let my raindrops roll off of you

My child, learn from these; rest be assured I’ve got my eyes on you

Peace be still. Peace be still.

How precious are your thoughts toward me if I should count the sum of them

How vast are the grains of sand, your thoughts toward me they outnumber them

My child, learn from these; let the grains of sand sift through

My child, learn from these; rest be assured I’ve got my eyes on you

Peace be still. Peace be still.

Why do I run why do I fight? Why am I so scared of myself I want to hide. Why do I run why do I fight? Why am I so
scared of myself I want to hide.

If I were to dwell in the remotest part of the sea;

Even there, your hand would guide me.

I find rest in the rythmn of your mind.

The waves of your ocean, they speak to mine.

They say…

Peace be still. Peace be still.

Peace…..Be still.

Peace…..Be still.

Drug Treatment for Women By Eric Morris

Drug Treatment for Women
By Eric Morris

Drug treatment for women is different from that of men. Nutritional needs are more for women for successful and sustained recovery. In general, women who use drugs would have experienced serious challenges in their life. They will have low confidence level, low self-esteem, and may feel powerless. Cultural and language difficulties sometimes delays treatment and recovery.

Several drug treatment programs provide services solely for women. They include food, shelter, and clothing; job counseling and training; legal assistance, medical care, child care, mental healthcare, family planning services, and counseling etc. Traditional drug treatment programs may not be appropriate for women because they may not cover all the requirements of a modern woman. After the completion of a drug treatment program, women would need services for sustained recovery and to re-enter the society.

The primary treatment for women is individualized. After primary treatment, continuing care services might be needed for long-term recovery. Mental ill health along with drug addiction prolongs the recovery period.

Women's residential drug treatment centers provide a multidisciplinary approach to facilitate easy recovery. Residential treatment centers provide a wide range of drug treatment programs for women such as day-night program, intensive IOP program, and life-skills program.

The day-night program is an all-day program that emphasizes on relapse-prevention combining both educational and experiential groups. This daily program consists of trauma group, lectures, counseling session, group therapy, and relapse prevention. The program also offers yoga, meditation classes, acupuncture, art therapy, breath therapy, etc. to facilitate easy recovery. This program provides 36 hours of therapy each week.

The Intensive Outpatient Program is a program that offers groups and lectures, which is geared towards individual needs.

A life-skills program is aimed to enable a drug-addicted woman lead a successful life after treatment. Women who participate in this program are encouraged to seek part-time employment so that they take up responsibilities in life. The program offers 15 hours of therapy each week.

Any of the activities in drug treatment program for woman is designed to bring about serenity and balance in their lives.

Drug Treatment provides detailed information on Drug Treatment, Drug Treatment Centers, Drug Treatment Programs, Residential Drug Treatments and more. Drug Treatment is affiliated with Residential Drug Treatment Centers.

My Dear Spiritual and Recovery friends,

To become a member of SpiritualKnights.com please fill out the form below. Your membership will help support this website
because it gives back to other alcoholics and addicts which were giving to us, "Life in recovery."

Why not help support a fellow alcoholics addicts and artists in recovery? We all have communities. AA, NA, or CA is a community
of Anonymous, we have communities for events and for causes. Through out my years of writing and producing recovery plays
as I worked with other alcoholics and addicts I have learned the joy of growth and watched the face expressions, "Wow" we did
this. I have seen and felt the applause and watch the cries. You may call me an artist who wears no masks in the recovery
community, but I have learned that I can't do this alone... Art is my joy and recovery is my life and like so many other recovering
alcoholics and addicts that I have met who are artists I feel their joy as well. So why I am I reaching out to you because, all in all,
we have one thing in common "Life in Recovery" I have only today to enjoy the creativeness and to share my works and
tomorrows arts may not promise a canvas, so may I continue to paint that picture. For over fifteen years of bumps, bruises,
falling down, standing back-up, and taking the happy days and the sad ones in perspective in recovery and living life terms, my
works is the works of gratitude- thanking my Higher Power for the life I have just for today and for giving me the strength to step
out of the box of Anonymous- but leaving my roots their so that I may continue to grow Spiritually and to give back to the new-
comers.

What if I can't afford to pay for a membership? My friend, if you can't afford it then it is free. Please send me an email
and I will create an account for you with all of the Membership benefits.

Do I have to be in recovery to support SpiritualKnights.com? No, you do not have to be in recovery. Addictions goes beyond

My thoughts are like a butterfly.
It can imagine a flower
as beautiful as I...

My imagination can fly like a
butterfly. It can fly low towards the
colorful flowers and high towards
the bright blue sky.

My feelings are free like a butterfly.
On a sunny day, I can laugh with
laughter. On a rainy day, I can cry
with humbling tears.

I am free like a butterfly. Life is
beautiful as I. My dreams and goals
are before my eyes, reachable, as long
as I try everyday and through out the
years.

Flying high towards the sky, while
stretching my wings towards my dreams
and drifting away from my fears, I am
just like a butterfly, my dear....
